CMDV is an ISO 9001:2015 accredited laboratory for conducting the following activities:

High-throughput DNA extraction.
Germplasm profiling and diversity analysis.
DNA fingerprinting for germplasm, hybrids, and parent stock.
Genetic purity assessment and variety/clone/hybrid purity testing.
Molecular marker discovery and validation (SNP/SSR) using the Agena MassARRAY/ABI 373XL platform.
Marker-assisted selection (MAS) and Marker-assisted backcrossing (MAB).
Bioinformatics analysis.
Consultation on the use of molecular markers in agriculture and conservation.
