  • Skop Penyelidikan

    Pembangunan dan penggandaan baka ternakan yang berprestasi tinggi dan berdaya tahan dengan makanan dan persekitaran tempatan (pedaging, tenusu dan unggas).
    Penghasilan sumber genetik ternakan (semen, embrio dan sel somatik), aplikasi teknologi pembiakan terkini (ART) dan genetik molekular bagi pengeluaran baka ternakan berkualiti tinggi.
    Pembangunan sistem pengeluaran ternakan (pedaging, tenusu dan unggas) dan pastura/foder yang cekap, mampan dan ekonomik merangkumi pengurusan ternakan, ladang dan sisa dengan penggunaan sistem ICT/IOT dan automasi.
    Pembangunan formulasi dan pemakanan tepat berkos efektif, teknologi pemprosesan dan biopemprosesan sumber makanan tempatan serta suplemen/aditif dalam mengoptimumkan kecekapan penggunaan nutrien dan kesihatan ternakan.

    Memperkukuh pemuliharaan sumber air dan tanah, pengurusan agrokimia serta aktiviti penyelidikan dan pembangunan untuk kelestarian ekosistem pertanian.
    Membangun dan mengukuhkan penyelidikan dan pengurusan sumber air dan tanah serta tanaman melalui teknologi sistem maklumat pintar dan cekap.
    Membangunkan teknologi pengurusan ladang organik bersepadu yang efisien dan berdaya saing menerusi model ladang contoh dan teknik pertanian mampan.
    Menjana produk dan input pertanian organik yang mesra alam dan berkesan menerusi penyelidikan yang menyeluruh.
    Membangunkan teknologi baja yang fokus kepada peningkatan kecekapan baja melalui penggunaan sumber seperti mikrob, sisa pertanian dan industri, serta sumber mineral bagi mengoptimumkan tahap nutrien di tanah serta di medium tanpa tanah.
    Meningkatkan keberkesanan baja melalui kajian pengunaan bahan tambahan seperti asid organik, biostimulan, unsur surih dan teknik aplikasi baja yang lebih efisien.
